SOURCE & METHOD
How LicenseTrigger creates a lead pack.
Official source
LicenseTrigger reads the City of Chicago Business Licenses dataset and selects ISSUE applications for the Retail Food Establishment license class. The source updates daily. Each delivered row includes its official record URL.
What “newly licensed” means
The launch pack uses licenses that have already been issued. It is not a pending-application or guaranteed pre-opening feed. Cancelled, revoked, appealed, expired, renewed, wrong-city, and malformed records are excluded from current lead delivery.
Trade-fit classification
Explainable keyword rules tag records as service candidates based on the listed business activity. Prepared-food activity can create grease, hood/ventilation, and kitchen-fire candidates. Every current retail-food license can create pest and waste candidates. Scores reward prepared food, dining, deli/bakery activity, recent issue dates, and a DBA.
Important boundary
A candidate tag does not prove that a business owns specific equipment or is legally required to buy a service. Vendors must verify onsite conditions and actual requirements before making a claim.
Privacy boundary
LicenseTrigger uses public business-site license records. It does not collect owner home addresses, personal emails, personal phone numbers, household information, or contact enrichment.
